Democrats playing catch-up to Republicans in courting religious voters have found a secret weapon: nuns.
In Ohio and Michigan, Democrats have recruited nearly two dozen nuns in each state to work phone banks. In Ohio, the nuns have made calls for the campaign for governor of Representative Ted Strickland and the Senate campaign of Representative Sherrod Brown.

I would send a letter to the bishop in their diocese and let it be known these sisters are advocating the election of pro abortion candidates.
I would bet the farm these the nuns they are using were never demonrats and are probably pro-choice priest wannabes.

I believe perhaps this is the answer. Feminism seems to take precedence over religion. Many nuns have a wish to be priests and it wont happen, However these nuns should think about the abortions that Democrats espouse and think of their souls before pushing their gender.
Last election, I had thought that by now the Democrats would be in the front rows of the churches on Sunday because they believed they had been outflanked by the Republicans on the religious issue. If they lose this time, they'll be standing on the street corners handing out religious tracts with "God loves Democrats" on the front of them.
In the San Francisco Bay Area are liberal nuns. They are very active in Amnesty International, passing out green cards to illegals, and vote Democrat. If you've spent any time at all with these 'nuns', the hairs on the back of your neck would raise. The dark side of these nuns is nothing I would ever qualify as "Christian" nor "Catholic".
That's what the NY Times wants everyone to believe. The rifts and splits in all MAJOR faiths have been going on for decades: The Orthodox, and then the "Liberal" wings.
