Gee, if they think that America and the Jews are hostile to European tradition, wait till they get a load of the next 50+ years with the Muslims. The fun is just getting started.
Are you bothering to read this, Alan Rickman?
Great article, thanks for posting it.
"Impotence breeds resentment, which in turn breeds disdain, hatred, and contempt."
How true. Poor Europeans. So much baggage. So little time. And the left in America should pay attention.
This will piss off some people here, but most Europeans are frankly nothing but irrational, hate-filled, genocidal Nazi savages.
They care more about exterminating Jews than their own well-being.
And of the two hatreds, make no mistake about it -- European hatred of Jews is far, far greater than their hatred of America. After all, who do you think runs America, according to most Europeans?
ping for later...
I read William L. Shirer's "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" (1960) decades ago. The book made it seem like the Nazi era was an aberration in European history, never to occur again.
How wrong that assumption was. Looks like the U.S. will continue to bail out the Eurotrash if only to keep terrorists from playing home games here.
America is unique, good, and beautiful upon this earth, blessed by G-d only for as long as we call upon Him. So far, it's working.

Something I wrote this morning on a related idea:
The Torch
(to the tune "The River is Wide")
A dream was born of hope and light,
of freedom bought in blood and pain
It is a beacon in the dark
For those caught up in tyrant's chains.
Some say the price is just too high,
Freedom's a myth, nothing to gain,
and those who were brave enough to try
are merely fools who died in vain.
Some call them fools who care to try,
stupid or evil to stand for right,
They fight to stop those who would go,
They fight to keep us in the night.
I think of those who worked so hard
to pay the price that keeps us free,
Yet some at home want us to lose
Like we don't deserve the right to be.
Some see the US as something bad,
Our reaching out an evil scheme --
They cheapen every sacrifice,
Each soul that worked for freedom's dream.
Our forebearers passed the torch to us,
Freedom's bright light from hand to hand,
Will we extinguish that bright flame
Or pass it on across the land?
Ping!
