Why would they disavow him?

Do they think it's a big secret that Democraps and Commies are one and the same?

"Twenty-two-year-old Daniel Keating is one of five candidates running for three seats House District 25, in the Nashua area"

...wander the education and experience of that geek. For commies everything is possible. I hope not in this country.

a fair minimum wage

I guess he's too young and stupid to realize that communism means minimum wage for everybody.

There are three other college-age kids running as Democrats for Nashua seats. Either Nashua, a big city by New Hampshire standards, is solidly Republican, or the Democrats are very poorly organized, or New Hampshire has a strange electoral system.

The last thing is certainly true, though not in a bad way. New Hampshire politics are quite different -- a lot more Republican -- than those of the surrounding states. And the legislature, the General Court, is larger and more part-time than other legislative bodies. There are multi-member districts and 3,000 voters for each representative. At 400 members (for such a small state) it is the 4th largest legislative body in the English-speaking world.

"The Democratic Party isn't endorsing Keating because he listed the Communist Party affiliation."

I love it; the Dems disowned him not for his embracing repugnant anti-liberty political proposals per se, but rather for admitting he belongs to a competing political organization (CPUSA).

That's priceless.

It's not exactly a "surge", but we'll take it.

Why would rats reject a fellow communist comrade? Marx (not Groucho) is written over everything they do.

Hmm. First John Kerry reveals the Democrats' sentiments about our protectors and now Daniel Keating reveals the Democrats' political identity. Lots of October surprises. I'll take 'em, even of they're in November!

Go and vote, all you Conservatives! Vote for the lesser of the two evils!

he joined the Communist Party USA about a year ago because it promotes issues of concern to working people, such as a fair minimum wage.

That is a poor reason to embrace an organization who's goal and singular purpose is to to destroy the constitution.

The Democratic Party isn't endorsing Keating because he listed the Communist Party affiliation.

He failed the 'too truthful' test.
