What's wrong with purging every voter roll, make every voter re-register and give them a voter ID card. This can be done in welfare offices, nursing homes, wherever?
Then you change the electronic machines to print out a paper receipt after your vote goes through. You check it and if it is wrong, you go to a separate booth so as not to hold up the line and revote.
Aside from enforcing the law being their job, and the fact that Christie is in charge, why won't the US attorney do anything?
none of us can figure that out.
the bottom line for all these issues of voting irregularities today is - if you win on election day, by whatever means you get the most votes - you win. courts will not overturn these decisions, no matter what the level of fraud. unless its rooted out BEFORE election day, its too late.
clearly if there are cases where the machine has a Menendez button "lit up" before the voters enters, some poll worker is doing that - where is the oversight?
Way to simple and reasonable..will never happen.
