What are "raw votes"?
FOX is calling the races on "raw votes."

Don't we still have the Senate?

I knew the house was gone but I was hoping like heck to hold a majority in the Senate. I think Stephens will be retiring.

WE do, but word is that Talent will lose, and that the dems have to win ALL of them and we need to keep 1, which they think may be Allen.

I'm so SICK of Bill Kristol that I could scream. I used to love the guy, but the last year he has been insufferable. :/

He just pointed out that Lieberman will have the majority vote if Webb wins. One good thing about it, that will make the DUmmies stroke.... until he sides with them to get back in their graces.

If Bush starts vetoing liberal bills his approval ratings may rise.

I already fedexed a pen. :-}

cheating is the only way they know how to win

Cheating is the only way dems win. Period. And Republicans will allow it. They won't make waves.

And yes, I love Dubya, but he now gets his amnesty and his precious trilateral agreements.

Bush means well, but his kindness will be used against him. Who suffers most? Our troops. and citizen patriots.

All in the name of a unity that will NEVER happen. A new tone my behind. Republicans live in a dreamworld just like the dems. It's a different dreamworld, of course, but its not real.

Now all the dreams of all the politicos will bring a nightmare to this nation.

I hope they are all very happy with that. Bunch of egotistical _____, aw, dang! I'm mad as the hot place!

Allen campaign claims that the networks transposed votes What does that mean?

Yeh. What are "raw votes" and "transposed votes?"

These races are too close to just be "winging it."

Wilson down 1,400 votes with 83% counted, it looks like Fitz is going to lose by a hair in PA-8, so if they both lose, assuming Reichart holds on, it is plus 25 for the Dems by my count, or plus 26 if Simmons loses.

The Dem column and GOP column were mixed up, or the digits transposed.

You heard about Wilsons troubles today? 150 ballots for a precicnt with 2500 voters? What kind of nonsense is that my good barrister?

A case in the offing, if it can be "proved" it would have made a difference. But judges don't like to overturn results over mechanical problems, based on speculative variations in the results.

That's a lot of missing ballots.

There are a bunch of other razor-thin seats as well, such WY-AL, which I am presently watching. I think the margin will be more around 30.

A question I've asked before. What GOP Reps defeated tonight will come back and run in the future?

If the present margin continues in PA-06 from Chester County, that one will be down to the wire as well.

All of them when Iraq becomes a success.

You are right. It looks like Gerlach will win. Amazing. Dems win 24 or 25 seats. I could be off a bit. I am losing my count now by a bit.

Courtney up by 540 votes. Only Waterford and Westbrook outstanding. Simmons won those two by 2080 votees in '04. Reducing Simmons by 4% and giving Courtney 4% reduces that margin to 1500 votes. Reducing that by a third because of turnout gives Simmons maybe a 1000 votes. Maybe he'll win after all. But I ain't counting on it. Courtney's numbers just keep going up for no logical reason that I can see.
