Well, they failed us on leadership. Immigration? Close the borders, yes! But deport the people here? It simply is unworkable. The pubbies side stepped leadership on everything accept the War. And that is a tough position. I have qualms about the war, yes, I see the point for being there. But, and this is the gut wrenching truth, on an emotional level, I have a hard time seeing those nuts over there and supporting one American youth dying in order to be in their nutty presence. Deporting people is workable. President Eisenhower deported millions. There are also indirect ways to get rid of the illegal aliens (such as taking away the special perks and enforcing our employment laws).
