Yes it is time for the Rats to start doing some of the heavy lifting instead of the steady bitching. They will have to take some resposibility. Never, as far as I know has the US got in such a hate hate mode. I look for Rat depression, Rat higher taxes.,Rat unemployment, Rat problems in defense. We will have Rats eating Rats.

While it looks bleak in Montana, Yellowstone County (Billings) is still completely out.

Wow! I missed Yellowstone, and Bush carried it by 16,000 in 04!
There might actually be a chance.

Yellowstone has the most voters in the state, and is a bit more GOP than the state as a whole.

Bush did well there, but Burns only won it by 2,644 in 2000. He'd need a much better showing this time around to overcome what is currently a 5,600 vote deficit.
To: Torie
it says yellowstone is recounting their votes..anyone know why? did they have any partial results up?

Here's the note on the state website:
11/08/06 1:15 a.m. Yellowstone County is counting the ballots again
To: Troublemaker
Why are they recounting Yellowstone then if it is over?

I think the machines collapsed, and they are doing a hand count in Yellowstone. Some odd bits in other counties are still out, mostly heavily GOP. I think this race is a true toss up, like Virginia, unless cosmo Billings goes unusually Dem because of Burn's diamond in the ruff qualities. I doubt that will happen. This election was a partisan fist fight.

I saw partial results up, which showed Tester with a 10% lead. That was hours ago. We shall see.

If the largest GOP is out, he might just pull it out.
