If I get one vanity this is it. Left wing approaches are doomed to failure. They threaten our prosperity and our very lives. This is based on history and common sense. The enemy of a successful America is not a political party. It is wrong headed leftist thinking.
Americans are generally conservative and polls always show they do not want to be labeled as liberals. But "we" allowed one of the dominant political parties to become radically left wing, and we treated them with courtesy and credibility all the way. The democrat party harbors representatives who are so Marxist and so offensive that the American people should have demanded a purge before returning democrats to power. Many of those extremists will now hold powerful positions. If there is a failure by republicans, it has always been a failure to call the leftists out loudly by name, to embarrass them for their radical viewpoints. Instead, they are largely ignored and treated like colleagues for a variety of reasons - all political and all bad for America.
We tolerate the democrat marxists because they are in safe democrat districts and we don't devote resources to defeat them. They represent minorities who don't vote for us anyway, so we ignore them. We are afraid to confront some because they are minorities. To some extent we like having radical democrats, because we think that will help republicans get elected in more moderate districts.
But there was going to be the day when democrats returned to power. And that day is dangerous because the democrat party became a leftist party. If they were conservatives or even moderates they would not threaten our security or economy to this degree. But they do.
So don't eat our own, don't attack our president who certainly is not a leftist. Attack leftist ideology, insist that republicans get tougher in the battle of ideas. Demand that leaders recognize the ultimate objective is our lives, fortunes and sacred honor. It is not a political chess game. When democrats say the American people want to raise our taxes or weaken our security and abandon our allies - demand that our leaders say "Like Hell!" And that they ridicule leftism as an offensive prescription for disaster.
Democrats won by running some more conservative candidates in key races, and hiding their liberal leadership. Let's make sure we remind them that the election was NOT about change from conservative to liberal.
As we all know, the republican party harbors some incredibly stupid liberal Senators. The problem is the democrats have far more of them. Encourage republican conservatives to stand up to them. Force the democrats and republicans to become more conservative. If you just throw out the Rinos the left wing democrats will fill the void.
Don't ever lose heart and abandon this country to the leftists. They are despicable and they will get you or your children killed.
Support the president, thank God for him at this moment. Just remind him that America is a conservative nation. Let's make sure "liberal" and "left wing" remain dirty words.
All I can say is ditto from those of us who live in the People's Republic of Kalifornia.
I will NOT believe that the Dems didn't do fraudulent voting!!! Rahm Emanuel learned at Daley's knee how to do vote fraud. I believe this because I just don't want to believe that the MAJORITY of the American people are supporting evil this way.
I can not imagine that Liberalterians influenced this election much since they represent only about 6% of the electorate.
I live in California, so I was already stuck with Dems, but now I can hold them accountable; it's put up or shut up time. Glad you got your reps elected, but don't let it stop you from demanding answers from every Demonrat in Congress. Your communiques may not carry as much weight as those of their constituents but will at least get under their skin.

Spend us into oblivion, whine a lot. Stick their nose into the trough even deeper. Steal all they can get by with. And have no fire in the belly for standing up for what is clean, decent, and honorable.

Although I always try to support the Republican Party, more and more Texas has only Democrats masquerading as Republicans. I live in a small west Texas town (Bailey County) which very actively supported the President yet I pay almost $3,000 a year in property taxes on about $80,000 worth of property. The property is now up for sale and I am moving to a Blue State where taxes are much less. I guess the blue state's Democrats are masquerading Republicans.

He took a huge loss last night and he might just want to throw in the towel and give them what they want. I never thought that I would see this happen again.Yet, here it is.
It is now proven that Dems do not have to pander to blacks to win, Hispanics are the Future.
The demographics of this vote indicates that Republicans lost because they lost the WHITE vote.
In 2002, Republicans won 58% of the white vote. This year they won 50%. Since whites are still around 60-70% of voters, this means whites switching parties caused a swing of 4.8-5.6% of the total vote.
In 2002, Republicans won 38% of the Hispanic vote. This year, 26%. Hispanics are around 6% of the electorate and therefore the change is only .72% of the total vote.
So there it is, Republicans lost their usual supermajority among the whites and therefore the election. Figuring out how to get that back is a better use of time than pandering to minorities (all of which are Democrat biased).
