AZ-5 Hayworth - NOT A LOSS YET, NOT AT ALL.
KFYI 550AM | 11-8-06 | Me

Posted on 11/08/2006 12:07:45 PM PST by Gribbles141

Heard on the radio here just now that there are roughly about 100,000 mail-in ballots still to be counted, and roughly 50,000 of those were brought to the polls yesterday. And with the race being this close: Mitchell - 71,077 - 51% Hayworth - 65,122 - 46% and with Hayworth not yet conceeding, its possible we could hold this seat.

This early voting crap is stupid. I can understand some legit reasons for it but the chance for fraud is too risky to chance it. If people can make it to the polls than go in persons.

My dad is 72. He said, "As long as we can walk in, why vote absentee?"

Absentee voting is very popular here so numbers in the hundreds of thousands is not uncommon or surprising for us.

"Remains to be seen if the son will live up to the father's reputation."

From what I have read and heard it will never happen. The people he worked with in the state government couldn't stand him. The way it seems, he doesn't stand for anything and he will be a sheepel in DC.

Look at Georgia 08 (Collins/Marshall). It is called for Marshall but the vote is still close with more votes yet in some Republican areas. Again, when do the mail ins get counted?

Early voting hurts the GOP unless those votes are counted, along with absentees, during the Election Day count itself. Otherwise, it hurts us badly on election night and gives the media more excuses to spin for the RATS.

I have a stupid question. Are the votes always completely counted to certify the vote or is over once conceded?

Its not the libs moving in, its the libs moving out into the suburbs, and his is prime rich moonbat lands that have been trending left. However Hayworth ran a non-campaign, he and the RNC let weeks of DNC lies air before a response was made.

I want my vote to be counted. So I never never do absentee or early vote. I always vote on the REAL DATE for voting....I've always felt too much crapola can go on with the other votes.

Way too many too close races...I believe the rats found a sound way to CHEAT!!!

Alot of people in Arizona live elsewhere for part of the year and vote here when the snowbird it back, which in JD's hood is prime snowbird winter home area. Thats why he has so many absentee ballots,

NJ is trending blue and has been for quite a while.Yesterday, both their seats went from red to blue. This trend is,I'm convinced, due to its proximity to immigrants from that cesspool of Marxism,Massachusetts.

It looks like the same thing might be happening in AZ.Proximity to California....and Mexico....will,I fear, turn AZ blue before too long.

Actually in registration terms, Hayworth's district is 5-3 GOP.

Here is hoping that the bulk of the 130,000 are from Reps. I am not a big fan of early voting and absentee ballots. It often seems to lead to the MSM calling an election before all the returns are in. I read somewhere that 25% of the votes cast in FL are from early voting and absentee ballots.

Same thing that happened all over the country. Democras ran as conservatives.

His opponent ran as strong on borders too.

And we don't know if he lost yet.

Meanwhile Arizona in 70% range voted to make English official language.

Don't the majority of mail-in ballot folks vote on the conservative side?

at least it's not real likely that any illegals who chose to vote would have mailed in absentee ballots
