Predictions on corruption

Posted on 11/08/2006 12:29:14 PM PST by Patriot814

Does anyone have any predictions of possible corruption indictments of people who were re-elected or didn't face re-election last night. Mine are Blagojevich, Mollohan, Jefferson, Hevesi and slight possibility of Reid. The Abramoff thing never really had much of an effect, wasn't there a possiblity Reid or Dorgan could get caught. There is some good news. All the republicans that have seemed to have scandals went down last night or have resigned. Could the scandals I mentioned or any other people have to off help republicans in 2008?

With Spitzer winning in NY, it looks like the entire State of NY is now controlled by Dems at all levels--legislature, governor, Senate, Congressional delegation, courts....

I predict that NY will quickly begin to look like NJ in terms of corruption.

No NJ is throughly corrupt even after the Torch, Mc Greedy and Corzine's tax increase, Menendez was reelected, look at Kennedy a murderet and Hevesi in MYC who was busted again during the campaign, the Rats don't care about corruption. Only conservatives care.

I'm betting that Menendez goes down hard. Too bad Corzine will get to appoint an even worse RAT.

The price of gas will go up and this will be a good thing now. The "news" media will tell us so. Not to mention that the economy is great.

As far as corruption goes, the Dems seem to love it. That's one reason I had no problem voting for Alan Schlesinger in the Senate race here against Lieberman and Lamont. He had some ethical problems with owing casinos money. I said to myself as long as guys like Jefferson, Mollohan, et al get rewarded by constituents for their bad behavior, why should I have a problem voting for a Republican who also has some ethical challenges?

Harry Reid must go!!!!

I will not accept that we cannot drive this corrupt SOB out of office. We did it with Jim Wright when we were in the minority, we did it with Dan Rostenkowski, and we can do it with Dirty Harry.

He took more money from Jack Abramoff than Bob Ney did, and had direct influence over legislation that helped Abramoff's Indian clients. He has FOUR children who are lobbyists and have made fortunes courtesy of his Senate leadership positions. He has blatantly violated federal election law by using campaign funds to pay tips and bribes to his condo staff. He failed to disclose significant income from shady land deals and may have evaded federal taxation on them. This guy is far dirtier than William Jefferson.

Nancy Pelosi promised the most honest and ethical Congress in history. Well, Nancy, it starts with your pal Dirty Harry. What's it gonna be, Democrats? Clean up Congress like you promised the voters, or circle the wagonas around your corrupt Senate leader???

And there aren't anymore homeless as of last night.

The liberal media turned this election by using our own complains about the Republicans against us.

From now on, the media will forget everything they've reported on for the last year and start "voicing concern" for higher taxes to aid "the poor", open borders for "multiculturalism", the need to "keep guns away from the children", the military is "out of control", and the Bible carrying Christians have to stop the "bigotry."

not the senate.

let's see what Spitzer does with Hevesi. Let's see him retain Hevesi, and then claim he is going to "clean up" albany.

He won't do it. NY is as corrupt as the day is long. The whole state is liberal.

For example, the NY Constitution says one man/one woman for marriage. What's NY the "health department" doing? They're going to let the gays change their sex on their birth certificates - for "mental health" reasons.
Presto! The homos can marry. Legally, the records will show a man and a woman.
To heck with the people in NY. It's the money and power that rules the sate. That's why Hillary made her rotten nest in NY.

What would Clinton do if he was President, oversaw the Justice Department, and the remaining members of Congress were Republicans? I know Bush doesn't have the guts!

How often do you see a RAT being held accountable for their transgressions?

Keep dreaming. Everyone you mention is a DemocRAT. Laws do not apply to them.

Republicans will not investigate them because they will look partisan. Democrats will not investigate because

Hevesi got elected I assume. What was the margin? Can Spitzer, as governor, try to get Hevesi thrown out? I assume there is not much he can do, unless Hevesi gets impeached. In any case, Demo voters again have no problem voting for crooks. They did it in so many other states. For some reason the polls show all the people concerned about scandal and ethics only threw out Republicans. Nice going.

Bush could easily have his attorney general successfully prosecute enough dems to give the Congress back to the reps.
