I agree. It's the nation and our future that's being "punished."

Allen's presidential aspirations are officially toast.

HOLD

If Webb won by 1/2% of the Popular Vote, Allen can demand a recount easily(no cost to him) .

If Webb won by less than 1%, then Allen can still call for a recount .
But if he loses, he'll have to pay for the recount !

I guess so....amazing. The "AP" must have found a bunch of votes for Webb that were overlooked.

The Legislative and Judicial branches are in their hands once again.

Only President Bush, the Executive branch, stands in our favor now.

Mr. President, warm up that pen.

Ah. Forget the recount. Let's just get going with what we got.

Right there is the difference between adults (conservatives) and the babies (Democrats), ads the dems would be screaming vote fraud. Good job, Diebold finally made their machines work correctly.

"This thread is meaningless. Might request deleting it."

Actually, it's a valid thread. Comes from a news source, has a link, and everthing. Few words, to be sure, but it's at least from a new source.

Why would the poster request that it be deleted?

Don't worry, the Dems are here to turn things around.

We have to be fair and make sure they get credit for every bit of it.

Oh, that would have worked.

Rummy resigning now is him simply taking one for the team. The WH will have enough on its hands without Rumsfeld being target practice everyday. That is all.

Originalists would be a better term for the first two. I refuse to call them far-right wackos like the MSM does, thank you very much. Thomas is more "originalist" and "conservative" than Scalia, by quite the significant margin, so perhaps if one is going to use the political labels, then Scalia, Alito, and Roberts are the moderate conservatives and Thomas is a conservative.

Note the difference between a moderate conservative and a conservative moderate which is what Kennedy used to be before going way left.

I thought if Dems. win, the AP, NY Times, etc. say "the people have spoken", etc.

If Reps. win, then the lawsuits begin with the AP, NY Times, etc. charging voter fraud.

There is a mindset that Reps. can't win a free fair election.

Except for Arnold S. in Calif. but I think that moderate movie star Republicans get judged by a different standard than conservative Republicans.

Go to bed, silentknight.

Reread your words in the morning and you'll realize the awful enormity of what you have said.

In a black church where Jesse Jackson was speaking? That's what they pulled in 2000.

" voted in Virginia with a paper ballot, as did most people at my polling station."

OK. I thought I had read that VA was an electronic voting state. I stand corrected. Are paper ballots standard in VA?
