I was wondering that too.

On another note, I went to ping Chapita - a Freeper from way back when - and just discovered he had passed away. I hadn't heard that. :-(

I think it had something to do with encouraging or referring to civil war. I remember seeing where he got banned. So step carefully on this thread, protecting your 2nd amendment rights I think are encouraged. Suggesting a civil war is not.

I seem to recall it happening earlier this year around the time all the illegal aliens were demonstrating for their "right" to be here, and was for apparently advocating what might be delicately referred to as "domestic unrest".

If you want to make people angry, lie to them. If you want to make them absolutely livid, then tell 'em the truth.

Trav told 'em the truth about how to protect America during tough times.

TM got banned back in April for repeatedly daring to call the immigration appeaseniks what they are: Quislings. He also suggested that they wind up dancing at the end of ropes, which violated the "no violence" rule.

Of course, all of that won't matter when his predictions finally come to pass.

It was a truly stupid event that got blown out of proportion and turned into a pissing contest. I miss him.

His alledged sin

BTW - He did not call for violence. He only hoped that the quislings would be hung from trees when the civil war starts.

I happen to hope similarly.

Free Republic is the better for all the longtime conservative posters it's banned.
