If evangelicals left the party, we would win. According to this article they did leave us, and we lost.

Funniest thing I've read all day. Evangelicals leaving the GOP would find us back to our 1970s numbers in government.

Great idea - losing 40 million votes sounds like a great start to a winning strategy. Moron.

If they ever take liberterians seriously we might.

If evangelicals left the party, we would win. LOL, riiiiiight. Without the anti-abortion anti-gay agenda vote, we would of had President Gore and lost the House and Senate a long time ago. The social conservative base is the biggest separator between the GOP and Dems and is the most reliable vote the GOP has.

If left wingers pretending to be christians left we would be better off.
We had a drug addict, apparent closted homosexual, who was evanglical as a means to aquire personal power.
How many other such fakes are out there?
The democrats knew EXACTLY how conservatives react to fraud, they punish it.

Well, a substantial number did leave.
And The Senate and House was lost.
But maybe there is some double-plus secret plan Rove has cooked up
for winning without evangelicals and also overcome millioins of
Amnestied Illegals that will vote Democrat.
If so, he'll be a "magnificent bastard" once again.
But I ain't gonna' hold my breath.

If Conservative idealogues left the party, we would win.
If libertarians left the party, we would win.
If neocons left the party, we would win.
Would the last one left please turn off the lights?
