No, I think Sir Elton is just upset that the Bible does not wink at depravity. We are all sinners, but rather than seek repentance, he'd have us 'glory' in our filth.

He should be really upset about communism then, since in the last century more people were killed by their own communist governments than in all wars (including so-called religious wars) in recorded history combined.

Well then, he should take a history course. The communist, socialist, and despot leaders have murdered more people in past 100 years, than any relgion has in history. Not to mention the 40 million or so babies killed in the United States by the Democrat Socialist Party of America. Sir Elton, you're what my religion refers to as a reprobate, not to mention "a fool."

perhaps, but there have been a lot of deaths because of homosexuals (his religion). Fact is they hate religion because Christianity(the bible based kind) and devoted homosexuals do not mesh. He even said he had some gay friends that love their religion. There are plenty of churches out there that give haven to the sin of homo-sex, they are not in tune with the Bible. The leader of the episcopal church (iirc) has said that the Bible has been misinterpreted about homos and they are just as acceptable as straight people. It is not right.
