If you're playing LPs, take a suitably-sized drill bit and put a new center hole in the LP. When you play the record on the new (off-center) center hole, it'll speed up and slow down as the record turns, and sound like ol' blue eyes has got terminal seasickness.
Theres your problem! Your supposed to play his music forwards. From your remarks, your judging an artist because of his ego? Say what you will about his personal life, I'll lay $50 grand on the line you couldn't come close to carrying a tune like he did, or that in the end, you will have lived a life 1/1000 as he lived his!
