BEAUMONT - A 41-year-old man has been arrested after two teenage boys were shot to death during an argument between the teens and the man's son. Manuel Garcia was booked in a capital murder case Saturday in connection with the deaths of a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old, police said in a statement.
The shooting, which happened just before midnight on Friday, stemmed from an argument earlier that evening between Garcia's teenage son and the two victims at the home of one of the boys, said Detective Jesus Tamayo. With a few of their friends in tow, the teens went to Garcia's home to confront his son, Tamayo said. One boy was shot in the head and the other in the chest, Tamayo said. Both boys, whose names were not released, later died at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Yep...Spanish were there assimalating people and giving them "Christian" names almost 200 years earlier.
Thanks. I like mysteries:')
Yeah I know, it was meant as a joke.
but mi speling is stil bad
Thanks for the common sense post, dpa.
I grew up in an almost all white environemt in the Sixties, and saw numerous white gang fights, beatings, riots and assorted acts of mayhem during that time.
Blacks and Latinos sure have their share of thugs and crazies too but those who pull the race card in cases like the one in Beaumont have no sense of history.
Dreadful. May those boys rest in peace.
Okay, point taken.
LOL. That's about right. However, I am not allowed to post such.
Neither am I...
;^)
Not much good happens after dark. At midnight, those kids should have been at home in bed. Where were their parents?
Being a native of Beaumont, I can say with almost certainty that these are probably illegal aliens. There were very few Hispanics in Beaumont prior to the current invasion of the last twenty years are so.
The ones there before had been in Beaumont since the late 1800s and early 1900s and were well assimilated by the 1960s - lots of intermarriage, etc. Many WWII vets.
If a gang of kids showed up and were physically assaulting or threatening the mans son, seems like self defense to me.
Actually its simply a mob mentality thing... which teenage boys are prone to, but can happen at any age.
I see based on just the minor facts laid out here, seems pretty straight forward self defense.
