Well if Rudy would make a good VP wouldn't that mean he would make a good President too. I thought the most important in choosing a VP is whether or not that person would be a good President

Vice President > Governor > Senator > Representative > Mayor.....

Mayor of New York City is a bigger Executive position than all the other positions you've listed, with the exception of Governor of states > 10 million people on a population basis, and even fewer states on a Gross State Product basis compared to NYC.

I like his PR ability. I think it would greatly benefit a more conservative candidate. He's a bit too liberal (anti-gun, pro-abortion) from what I understand to make a solid nominee in and of himself. I voted for a team when I voted Bush/Cheney. It's still early yet and I definitely don't have enough info yet so I may change my mind. Who knows.
