Hey, before we go on with the Catholic bashing...
realize this Cardinal Martino is a loose cannon. He has been reprimanded more than once by this Pope and previous one for talking out of turn, and giving his opinion as official view of the Pope when it was not.
Martino was the spokesman all over the news before we went into Iraq condemning America (Pope John Paul II, contrary to popular belief never "condemned" the Iraq war).
Everyone knows Martino is a a leftist and America-hater. The MSM misleads people when it says "The Vatican" which implies it's an official statement on morals by the pope, but it can be any Vatical official just spouting his own personal views.

Then Pope BXVI should come out and refute Martino's statements, and/or state his own opinion on the building of the wall on the U.S. Southern Border. It's a bit of a cop out to say the Vatican doesn't believe the same as Martino when it doesn't come out with a statement of its own, or a refutation of what Martino said.
