Roe v. Wade, Doe v. Bolton, the laws that force taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood, etc., are all "codification of religious dogma." Not Christian religious dogma, but religious dogma nonetheless.

Exactly... it is a return to the pagan ritual sacrifice of virgins... Boortz and his ilk can go take a walk off a short pier... I won't enable their filth to get into seats of political power...

Rudy's not a libertarian either. No libertarian has the views on guns that Rudy does.

Yeah...I know...I have to remember the sarcasm tags.

The guy is a liberal who is not liberal on a few specific issues.

Thank you so much for the reply. No, we who love life shall not purposely enable the rise to power of such, but neither shall we prevent it, if it is allowed in the plan of God (see spec. Daniel and Revelation). The media (newspapers, magazines, television, radio, internet...) is indeed a powerful political force...for good or evil, as each one of us as individuals is granted to be, and we will also be held accountable for every careless word.

I too once thought like Mr. Boortz, and the Lord had compassion on me, for I sinned in ignorance. I pray this same mercy will be shown to Mr. Boortz, that he will see his need of mercy, and that he will be granted knowledge of the truth, and a courageous heart to embrace it with, so that his mouth and pen will spread what is good and true and right and lifegiving out of the ransomed heart's overflow, amen.

Worthy of repetition! -

Abortion is a summary execution without a trial and without conviction by a unanimous jury of peers... especially since, without any doubt, the accused is totally innocent of any crime... This requires no "morality" to see, it is logical, self-evident and goes against all Constitutional standards governing the taking of life.

The truth of life in the womb, of the miracle of conception and what spark takes place in such a moment, the rapidly increasing knowledge of DNA and genomes as identifiers of unique and sacred personhood, the technology of ultrasound and fetal heart- and brain-wave monitors, 3D and videotaped pictures of smiling and crying and ripped-apart babies in the womb; the spread of all this and much more information (the cover of Time magazine, for instance) and the arguments specifically concerning partial birth abortion (very public information both from Congress and the Court); the statistics of women killed and maimed and broken by their choice to abort or being forced into such a decision; and 43 million dead babies since 1973 in America alone, all this is plenty enough truth to stop abortion in our land.

But the truth is suppressed by men of unrighteousness, just as the Scriptures say.

Thank you for your encouragement, dear one for life, and for all your work on behalf of this cause which is the very highest cause, the first cause from which all other causes flow: LIFE. There is no liberty or pursuit of happiness without that first gift - this is true physically as well as spiritually. Amen.

Guiliani's a gun-grabber, does anyone seriously expect states in the South or West are going to vote for that in conservative primaries?

It's a reference to grammar-police and not ending a sentence with a preposition..."That is a pedantry up with which I will not put." It's lame in this context.
