Steele would have been a great choice. They aren't called the stupid party for nothing.

Steele kept insisting he was very independent and was not your "typical" Republican

He could make a great Senator or Congressman, but I guess they wanted a RNC chairman who was less ambivalent.

The Bush family destruction of the Republican Party continues apace.

President Reagan, we're sorry for what we've allowed to happen. It's time to make it right and take this Party back.

I like Bush most of the time. But I am SICK AND TIRED of his "boys club" attitude. The US Presidency is NOT a dynasty and the Party is not either.

Didn't Steele cast off Bush first with his "anonymous" statements to the media about not wanting to be seen with him?

If Mr. steele had been chosen at least it wouldn't then be same OLD TIRED babosos.
I want some leaders that aren't there due to longevity. I want some TRUE conservatives.
This "new" leadership is b.s.

What's Steele's position on amnesty for illegal aliens? I've read that Martinez is with Bush on that issue.
