The campaign season is over, but we cannot let pass Massachusetts Senator and still bitter presidential wanna-be John Kerrys insult of our troops when he declared on a campus stop that students need to do well, or else you get stuck in Iraq. His completely in-character gaffe brought deserved condemnation, including some from leading Democrats.
Kerry disappeared from the campaign trail, so as not to be a distraction to Democratic campaigns. But before he left he issued a non-apology apology in which he failed to actually apologize for the insult. He said: I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted to wrongly imply anything negative about those in uniform, and I personally apologize to any service member, family member, or American who was offended.

It's great to see that piece of grabage go down in flames. He is now the NATIONAL LEPER! No one wants to be seen with him, not even his fellow Democrats. He earned his loser spot!
Most criminals are sorry---sorry that they got caught.
The only thing I see that Americans actually won this year was that now we wont have to be bothered with John Kerry running in Presidential politics again.
I am afraid that the Massachusetts voters probably still havent got the message and they will re-elect him come his next time at bat, but perhaps even they have wised up on Kerry. Too bad they cant seem to give up on Kennedy.
Kennedy, Frank, Studds, Kerry - just another in the line of pathetic MA pols.
.........He earned his loser spot!
.................
Let's just hope that the MA voters recognize his loser status in 2008!
MA voters are as dumb as dirt... and their media/politicians make sure they stay that way.

I don't have faith in the MA voters. Ted Kennedy got 69% of the vote. Huh?
Don't forget Michael Stanley Dukakis.
This thread could go on forever.
He was already that, LONG before someone decided he was more "electable" than Howierd. His pomposity was only emboldened by the faux attention he got.
Not to mention a party icon. (whole load of losers)

<< Kerry earned his place outside the spotlight [Unproductive Troublemaker] >>
Unproductive?
Well, depending upon your perspective, likely not.
Scores of millions of Americans and hundreds of millions of foreigners believe the second-generation American traitor, John Kohn-Kerry, to be richly deserving of the 'Hero of the Socialist International' award he picked up for, along with his every-bit-as treasonous gang, Fonda, Hayden et al, being directly responsible for the more than three and a half million post-Vietnam-War deaths directly attributable to their treasonous activities, on behalf of America's enemy, in time of war!
But then, on the other hand, there is, thank God, all of the rest of us!

JOHN KERRY's latest media attack on our U.S. Military that's always been bringing more Freedom to the world...
...was a deeply felt SNIDE remark, not a joke.
The U.S. Media's going along with his "Joke" lie makes it complicit as well.

That's what we're being told... and many are lapping it up.
"He said, 'I sincerely regret...'"
Did he SAY that---or did it just appear on his website?
There's another thread above regarding gays in the military, where Marty Meehan is apparently going to reintroduce the idea that open gays should be permitted to serve.
The subtext of that move, I think, is that Meehan is angling for Kerry's seat, and preparing the groundwork for a senate run, meaning that Kerry is "DEAD MEAT" in Massachusetts politices.
So you see Meehan doing what a politician has to do to get the early headlines and party support in the parallel universe of Massachusetts, which is to run left, out-gay your gay opponents, and generally be as extreme as possible.
Thank you, Ohio! Thank you!
"...an unproductive troublemaker..."
I love that one - this guy has been a big zero in the Senate. Which may not be a bad thing. But he has done practically nothing but shoot off his big - nay, huge - mouth. And expects everyone to listen. Very booring.
I think the picture of Kerry standing off to the side of the hall in the shadows as the new demo senate leadership makes their way for their photo op will be long remembered.
It sums up his career - always in the shadow of his betters.
But I bet Kerry isn't done yet! He will be on Fox News Sunday for his "first interview" since his joke. The man has an ego that won't quit, and you can be sure he will be saying he plans to run for President again! :(
You are right..all Kerry cares about is his pseudo-
philosophy of inane rhetoric compounded by his use of
the words that he picks up from others..." it is
seared in my memory"...one of his phrases with the
Cambodia misstep. The only brain this guy has is
his penchant for the almighty buck of the female(s)
he pursues... Jake
>>preparing the groundwork for a senate run, meaning that Kerry is "DEAD MEAT" in Massachusetts politices.
Interesting! In '04, when it was thought possible that Kerry
could win the Presidency, several local pols readied themselves to go for his Senate seat in what would be a special election. When the polls looked good on election
day Cong. Stephen Lynch announced he'd be having a presser
to declare his candidacy the following Saturday...later
the presser was quietly cancelled of course! Meehan was
also said to be a candidate.
Would Marty dare to run against Kerry for Senate in 08?
I'd think Kerry would run for re-election even if he
were to run for Pres. He'd get whipped in primaries
and then resume his Senate run, but would someone else
dare to run against him in the Dem. Senate primary?
Remember despite the botched joke and all Kerry is a fave
in MA. Unless Meehan really made a strong case for himself (I have heard he has quite the campaign warchest built
up)...
..and he has to remain in the spotlight, or else, as Howie Carr would put it, Mama T (Ta-ray-za "Shove it" Heinz
Kerry) would throw him out and he'd be sleeping in his
car again!
Such a pushy thing to do to ride on someone else's coat tails.
Wish tv and print would edit the maggot out !!!
Does Hillary know about that??????

IMHO.
What else can one expect from John H'ANNOY Kerry.
I would take an unproductive troublemaker over a productive one any day. Who needs a troublemaker who is productive at it, i.e. at making trouble? Imagine the horror!
