GREAT post. I write this as I hear warplanes overhead right now and remember back to the days before 9/11 when things were different. The U.S. did the right thing in response and anybody who doesn't realize that has to be in a dream world. A world that will never really exist for us again.

My three year old daughter and I were standing, looking through the barricade, at the giant pit that WAS Trade Center Plaza. My little one sat in her stroller, peering quizzically at the site, having NO idea about the war or world events, and certainly not 911. She then looked up at me with a start and said something I'll NEVER forget: "Heyyy..." she said, "Where did all the people go?"

Thank you for the great feedback. It took me some time to put this all together - finding all the pictures and quotes. I can't believe some of the quotes I found and you should see some of the stuff that I couldn't fit in.
I'm still galled *anyone* could take the film "Loose Change" seriously. And too see the "unbiased, non partisan" media fawning over the guys who did it makes me want to vomit.
I can't believe what the Hollywood slime is saying about America - its troops, its citizens, its culture. It makes me want to hit something (and I'm not a violent person.)
I'm tired of "artists" talking about "making people think" and then giving us more tired liberal, left wing, neomarxist, recycled 60's crap like it's a new idea. With this piece I wanted to show them that we can do it too and that our stuff can be just as touching. Putting their words with pictures of the people who suffered and died. I wanted to SHOW them what they are talking about.
