Michael Richards exploded in anger as he performed at a famous L.A. comedy club last Friday, hurling racial epithets that left the crowd gasping, and TMZ has obtained exclusive video of the ugly incident.

My feeling is it is because many people think that only white people can be racists and African-Americans are incapable of racism. That, in itself, is racist. I would agree. Larry Elder discusses some of these themes in "The Ten Things You Can't Say in America." It's a pretty good read.

You do realize that PJ Comix does standup, right? Actually no BUT I do know the owner of the Laugh Factory, Jamie Masada, very well. In fact I did a DUFU voice podcast about him and the Laugh Factory last summer.

Sometimes people reveal a little about their soul in unguarded moments. Richards has shown himself to be very pettty and hateful. Of course there is a double standard but that does not mean there shouldn't be standards. I admit I got petty enjoyment from how Richards looked around with dismay as the audience walked out on him.
