Yeah, but that's more like an "I'm cute, don't kill me" sort of attractiveness. I think little kids are among the most beautiful things on Earth, but they're not sexually attractive.Good point.
Apparently there's a pretty sophisticated science of trying to characterize physical beauty. Things like symmetry and proportion appear to be key in making a woman attractive to men.
Symmetry is a marker for good general health. What are good proportions, though?

What I find interesting is that, among the various places one can find such composite pictures, the ideal face always appears to be so nice, wholesome, and endearing.
Here's another, from a German study:

what if those "white girl" features really are more appealing for some reason other than cultural preference? Uh oh, r9. That's a "Lawrence H. Summers" caliber question. You better duck now.

Uh oh, r9. That's a "Lawrence H. Summers" caliber question. You better duck now. Nah. Maybe at DU, but FReepers tend to like that kinda discussion.
On a similar topic, I've always thought it would be interesting to see if people have any common perception of various "attractiveness indicators," such as pretty, attractive, beautiful, gorgeous, lovely, and so on.
For the two composites I posted, I wonder what descriptors folks would use for them....
