This should be enough to make every American purple with rage - Colorado's Attorney General traveling on taxpayer dime with State Department connivance, to Saudi Arabia to apologize for the just conviction handed down by a Colorado state court upon Homaidan and Sarah al-Turki, a Saudi couple for false imprisonment and rape of their Indonesian nanny. Apparently, in Suthers' world the nanny and American justice is an afterthought - I'm ashamed Colorado's highest law enforcement official is even an American.

Me, too.

I live in Colorado, and I haven't heard one thing about this.

Looks like he wants the Sharia justice requirements imposed here. I have a question for Suthers: who cares what the Saudis think? This is AMERICA, DUMPKOPF and here our laws prevail!

Suthers is a loser and needs to be run out of office for this piece of stupidity.

The State Department and the Attorney General Of Colorado should all be fired for their affront to American sovereignty!

"Attorney General John Suthers made the trip at the request of the U.S. State Department and met with Saudi King Abdullah, Crown Prince Sultan and relatives of Homaidan Al-Turki, who was convicted in state court in June and sentenced to 28 years to life in prison, Deputy Attorney General Jason Dunn said Friday. The federal government paid for most, if not all, of Suthers' trip, he said."

Yeah I'm still steamed about the fact we needed to explain American justice to the Saudis. As if its ANY of their damned business!

It was hard to tell by his shameless groveling whether Suthers represented Saudi Arabia or whether he represented Colorado.

Interestingly, Ms. Schlussel never tells us what Suthers actually said. The only actual quotes do nothing to make her case, but rather suggest that Suthers did precisely the opposite of what she accuses him of doing.

Here is a summary of what actually happened, and it is (of course) completely different from the wretched screed posted above.

One would almost be willing to call Debbie Schlussel a liar; however, I've seen enough of her stuff by now to simply mark her down as a blathering fool.

Please do some research on the facts of the case, and then perhaps you'll change your tune -- and be demanding the ouster of Ms. Schlussel, whose article is a work of fiction.

I was going to post the obligatory "Bush and Saudi Prince Holding Hands" picture.

Then I thought, 'why bother?' It doesn't even matter any more.

I'm sick of our so-called leaders kissing the hooves of these barbaric desert pigs, but that's simply the way it is---and the way it will always be.

Keep driving those Hummers, morons.
