The last person to meet Alexander Litvinenko before he succumbed to the agonising effects of radioactive poisoning is a self-professed expert in nuclear materials.
International 'security consultant' Mario Scaramella, who joined Litvinenko for the now infamous clandestine meeting in a London sushi bar, headed an organisation which tracked dumped nuclear waste, including Soviet nuclear missiles left over from the Cold War.

My mother said never eat sushi with someone you dont know really, really, wellI did and it was great. First time, too. Also had some Kobe beef with it. Also phenomenal.
I not only lived to tell about it, I had a good time.
Guess I should have mentioned this at Thanksgiving, too. ;)

Maybe it has something to do with not being involved in international power plays and having a background in espionage. (*smirk*)

This is one of those threads that shows me just how little time people spend reading anything past the headline.

His name is Italian, but he is decidedly not mafia. Read the article and you will see that he has tipped off the Italian police to crimes being committed in the smuggling of nuclear materials. Cosa Nostra: nessuno ratti permisero.

Poison is from China. Canadian Free Press
On Saturday morning, a day after Alexander Litvinienko died of poisoning by a radio-active isotope, Polonium-210, I got a phone call from England. Mr. Gordon Thomas, a famous British investigative journalist and intelligence author, told me he had obtained information from MI5 and MI6 sources that the rare isotope came from China. Was the notorious Chinese intelligence service interested in assassinating former KGB-FSB spy, Alexander Litvinenko? If so, perhaps only for money.
