The 17th century Blackhead's House is a low-rise building that figures prominently as an integral part of Riga's architectural landscape.
The Blackhead's House was first mentioned in 1334. The building was owned by the Great Guild that sprang up not later than in the 14th century. The Guild consisted of the privileged groups of merchants and landholders in the Baltics and had a great influence on the town council work.
In the 15th century, the house was rented out to the Blackheads Merchant Guild and became their property in 1713.
This beautiful Gothic building with a Dutch Renaissance facade was destroyed in 1941, during World War II. It was just recently rebuilt in honor of the city's 800th anniversary in 2001. The building is now open to the public. The renewed building, wide and squat topped with mechanical clocks, is so authentic that it looks like as if it was transported directly from the 14th century.

Obama's strength is "rhetoric". He's just like Bubba...When he's done speaking, you find he hasn't said anything. Every sentence contains "is". AND, he wasn't born a poor little black boy who rose to this post because it could happen "only in America". He's a mulatto whose father was wealthy. Both he AND HIS FATHER attended Yale. IIRC
You forgot to mention his father and Grandfather were Kenyan Muslims, His mothers white family wasnt all that poor either, as they raised him whe his father took off two years after he was born. Isnt it funny how these people of mixed blood forget that it is mixed and claim their black heritage? Especially when it works for them. Haille Berry did this in her speech at the Oscars with her mother in the cheap seats. Personally I love the way Tiger Woods portrays himself ,not denying either race, but proud of both.

Until the primaries are over, I am searching for a conservative candidate, not some anti-constitution, pro-abortion homo-loving NY liberal freak who openly cheated on his wife. Know anyone like that?
Face it, Rudy pisses right on the constitution with his anti-gun stance. That alone should be grounds for disqualifying him from holding any elected office where he would swear to support and defnd said constitution.
