Here it is in a nutshell: we'll vote for ANY Republican to stop the Democrats from destroying this country.

Who exactly is "we"?

translation the constitution party seeks to directly help hitlary get elected into office.

The constitution party has ZERO chance of electing a constitution party candidate. ZERO.

Their only function is a spoiler for the democrat party.

A third party is the ONLY way hitlary can win.

This is no different that the fact democrats funded constitution party commericals in the blue florida counties in 2004.

Maybe not, if the reps run Rino Rudy, expect a whole lot of social conservatives to stay home or go third party.

Thanks for proving my statement true.

You are correct with the effect of third parties on the electorate. The impact of George Wallace in 1968 impelled Richard Nixon to run on more of a "law 'n' order" platform than he had and to convert Spiro Agnew, who had been a Rockefeller Republican, into a conservative hero through "fire eating" speeches against hippies and permissive courts.

The Republican Party will not succeed in 2008 by telling conservatives to "shut up and work your butts off for our RINO candidate". However, in holding the conservative base, McCain or Giuliani may alienate the sort of voters that they seem to attract at present.

"We" are the people who care about this country and not just our own personal agenda.

In other words, nobody you'd know.

We'll put you down as a "quitter" then.

Now you've made your position clear, please shut up about the GOP; it's none of your business anymore.

You aren't the first one being told to "SHUT UP" on this thread. Personally, I'm a little sick of it. Such republican compassion. Sheesh.

""We" are the people who care about this country and not just our own personal agenda."

So supporting the big-spending republican party is not a "personal agenda"?

So basically, you'll vote for ANY republican, just "to stop Hillary." That's probably what the country clubbers in the party are wanting you to do...(Tom Tancredo for president of the United States of America in 2008!)

Sure, country clubbers. Not like that real American, Tom Tancredo. He hangs out at a $700/night room at the Breakers on Palm Beach Island (ever see the golf course at that place?), and trashes Republicans in the same state who risked their lives fleeing a dictator. What a loser. Time to can the "country clubber" rhetoric.

The Brits do this all the time.

I remember this. It's deja vu all over again. This is the part where the purists take their ball and vote for a candidate totally unacceptable to a real conservative ideology and ends up putting a Clinton in the White House. Sure, the Republicans should stick to the conservative agenda, but let there be no doubt. Bill Clinton winning the White House was totally the fault of idiots too myopic to see that they were not advancing their agenda by voting for Perot.

Won't Happen; Like Al Gore in TN down south or J. Edwards (he reminds me most of John Edwards..). People in our state know that he will tell Constiuents 1 Thing back home; then vote the totally opposite way in washington, D.C. just like John Edwards/Barron Hill, ect..

He won't win in a Presidnetal Race; I wouldn't put tooo much faith in Sintor Bayh..I will fight against him!!..

Tell me who you want the republicans to nominate in 2008. I want to know how that person lives.
