Chavez helps leftist ally Argentina ward off Soros ( Confused ? )

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on Tuesday stepped in to help his leftist ally Argentine President Nestor Kirchner by bailing out an Argentine firm to prevent its purchase by a fund involving billionaire investor George Soros.

Chavez, whom Kirchner wished good luck before his landslide re-election on Sunday, said he would lend $80 million to Sancor, a struggling private cooperative dairy sought by Adecoagro, a fund in which currency speculator and philanthropist Soros has a stake.

"The capitalist magnate wanted to buy it out. Now I have signed the first part of the deal. We are going to issue credit of $80 million," Chavez told a news conference.

The move is a further sign of Chavez using his abundant oil earnings to forge an alliance of leftist leaders across Latin America, fighting what he sees as the evils of capitalism.

Chavez said an unspecified portion of the loan would be repaid in milk powder and advice on designing dairies -- in line with his other regional deals.

Venezuela already sells discounted oil to Argentina...

Very few countries in the world are willing or able to refine Venezuelan oil due to the high sulfur content. We're their biggest buyer and we have the leverage if we're willing to use it. I'm willing to pay a bit more at the pump if it means Hugo has to suffer a bit.

If we'd stop listening to the Godforsaken environmentalist we could suck enough out of the ground beneath us to replace Chavez's stolen slop.

Remember when 'insurgents' kept blowing up oil pipelines in Iraq near the beginning of the rebuild-phase?

I can imagine 'radical environmentalists' doing likewise here if we went full ahead on drilling in Alaska and etc.

Great picture.

Hugo says, "I wish all Americans were as gullible as you, Jimmy."

That isn't a stretch. They chain themselves to trees (as renewable as you can get) and have burnt down houses, forest, and vehicles in the name of progress regression. Idiots. If they'd dare look at their Communist roots and admit how asinine the whole idea is we'd be living in a different world.

My question is: "Why do we listen to them?" If we can answer that, and correct it, we can eliminate a lot of the liberal problem.

Unfortunately, a lot of it has to do with the liberal influence of public opinion in: newspapers, television shows, music and PACs.

That entire structure has to be infiltrated from within via the planting of 'memes' and other emotively persuasive and 'mainstreamed' thoughts. Among other things.

Jimmy and Hugo - two heavy crudes that can't be refined, with a lot of associated gas

And these aren't things that happen quickly. I'm willing to stay the course. Their ignorance will expose them - if it doesn't kill us first.

"Their ignorance will expose them - if it doesn't kill us first."

Therein lies the rub; how much pain must we endure before we begin to recover?

I suspect it will take place more quickly then we imagine it'll take; liberals tend to be very 'fad' oriented, with short attention spans and short term vision, and without much self-control (control of themselves, individually and collectively - whim takes them).

Without capitalism and capitalist workers, their oil will remain in the ground.

Never mind the people and ships to move the oil...

He is a POS.

Let us hope, though I'm not sure that history supports your assertion.

Yes we are. Half the populace is actively working to undermine their own country. Bizarre.

Soros wants a unified world government with soft socialism (AKA Soros wants to keep his money). Chavez, Putin, and Jintao want hard socialism.

Soros is widely hated by just about everyone. His companies are not allowed into China, because Soros backed overthrowing the Chinese government. However, half of the stuff Soros did backfired (See Poland). Soros wants a Soft Socialist (Almost EU Type)world government as I stated in my last post, while guys like Chavez, Jintao, and Putin want what I call "Strong socialism".

Whatever amount of oil we've been buying would be sold in large part to China if we don't buy it.
