If there was a flashing object, somebody had to be moving it, so I assume he's alive?
To: Cagey
Fox is reporting that a body, face down in the snow, has been spotted, and I am totally upset. I had hopes he would have figured out a way to survive.

They're talking about a body. How do you know it's just a body? Did the authorities say it that way?

FOX just confirmed a "body" was spotted. I'm praying he's just lost consciousness due to hypothermia, but if that were the case I doubt they'd be calling him a "body." They are saying they haven't identified the body, though.

If it was flexible, it could move in a breeze. The news reported they found his pants. It seems he got hypothermia-caused dementia.
To: Cagey
Articles found at scene have been positively identified by family members as belonging to them. Not confirmed but it is presumed Mr. Kim did not survive. Press conference upcoming on CNN. I am streaming it and will post updates as they come from CNN.

Actually, when FOX ran it's 'breaking news' it read that KIM's body had been found. I was stunned when the reported came on to say it hadn't actually been confirmed, that someone in a helicopter was only reporting that they had seen what looked like a body. That banner read that the whole time she was reporting. aghhhh media.

So sad, I didn't see how he could survive in this bitter cold.
To: RegulatorCountry
things can glint due to motion in the breeze or due to the relative motion of the searcher's helicopter. A previous article also said that they'd found his pants. One doesn't live long in snow without pants.
Prayers up- it looks grim.

Maybe he heard the helicopter and tried to signal it, but collapsed in the snow. If they can see his body clearly it hasn't been there very long, I'd think.

No snow the past few days, I know our local weatherman was upset last night that the clouds were clearing and that meant temps down into the teens instead of 30's last night.
To: indcons
