Hmmmm... I'd think, that those were German Nazi death camps, not Polish ones.

This boils my blood every time. "Nazi German death camps in Poland"... why is it so difficult to write this!? Unless of course the authors have an agenda.

The one responsible for this idiotic title should be sued by the Polish government!

Yeah but.....haven't we been told that those camps never existed. I wonder if Iran knows this?

Yes. Those are German death camps ~ there are not Polish death camps.
You'd almost think the folks who keep making that mistake aren't really interested in the topic.

Lizol, you are lawyer. Is there any legal grounds to sue the bastards who call German Nazi concentration camps on Polish soil "Polish Nazi concentration camps"?
Poles had nothing with those camps, they were only victims. It is deliberate deception.
In my book it is Nazi revisionist ploy to exonerate German Nazis and their American business partners and blame Poles instead.
How about many people taking newspapers to small claims court and having it turned into class action suit?

Syntetic rubber factory was located in Buna (Auschwitz III) and was owned by Standard Oil. No wonder it was not bombed during the entire war, although syntetic rubber is strategic material, unlike catedrals of Dresden and Koeln.
Inmates who worked in Standard Oil's factory were given "buna soup" - unknown concoction that enabled inmates to work without food and metabolise their own tissue. This is worse than any horror film-inmates died as fleshless skeletons.

I don't believe that anybody is under the impression that the Polish people were the driving force behind the establishment of the death camps. I'm sure that most people believe the Poles were victims of a brutalizing invading force on their own sovereign territory.

Hope you are right. The problem is abysmal education system. In a survey taken several years ago in Britan, over 50% of adult participants have never heard of Auschwitz.
For them, it could be a name of some white wine. They have no clue.
Fast forward ten or 20 years and if those blokes check the net to find what Auschwitz is they will find reports calling Auschwitz a "polish nazi concentration camp".

You have a point, the record must be corrected to reflect the fact that the death camps are not "Polish" even though they were imposed upon Poland by the Nazis.

As far as I know - Polish MFA and embassies in cooperation with one of the main Polish newspapers and organizations of Poles living abroad are running such action.

Some time ago I've read, that some research has been done among youngsters in a school in California.
One of the questions was "what nationality were the Nazis?".
And the most common answer was ... "Polish".
