Charged with murder is Mumia Abu Jamal, a local newspaper and radio reporter
He was a taxi driver. He was no more a reporter than Paris Hilton..
Fry Mumia!
A reporter???? For what, the Black Panther newsletter?
he did work at PBS for a while and even they fired him for being a stoner but when he committed the murder he was working as a cab driver..
Oh heck, I thought you were talking about the famous Faulkner.
Did he go to college? How did he get a job at PBS?
Whatever happened with the case to change his sentence to life instead of the death sentence? I seem to remember that a judge ruled a stay and had ordered a review and there was a 6 month window in which he would have to have his sentence either upheald or changed. I never heard the outcome. This article says that there are people trying to get him realeased from death row but I'm not certain he's still on death row.

Screw the cop, let's try to free the life of a thug who should have assumed 212 degrees Fahrenheit instead. Typical liberalism.
God grant Maureen Faulkner serenity, since the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seems determined to deny her justice.
He never went to college. He somehow networked himself with the liberal intelligentsia by covering the MOVE looney tunes and involving himself with other extreme left wing groups like the Black Panthers and another group to legalize pot..
He eventually got fired from PBS because he was basically a stoned out nut job who could not get along with anybody..
a good reminder of who the nuts are...
