Singer , Brookings Institution Larry Kahaner Larry Kahaner talked about his book AK-47: The Weapon that Changed the Face of War, published by John Wiley and Sons. In his book Mr. Kahaner traces the rifle’s role in wars from Vietnam to Iraq. According to the author, no tool has spread so much raw power to so many people in so little time in the history of warfare. The guest interviewer was Peter Singer, who directs a project on 21st century warfare for the Brookings Institution.

No one in the Iraq Surrender Group was ever served in the Military. Yet, the Enemedia(thanks Lucianne) treat them like rock stars.

May be because, they consulted Thomas Friedman, Leslie Gelb, Sandy Berger, Anthony Lake, Ken Pollack, Thomas Ricks, and George Will. Hugh Hewitt calls The ISG Report: The Emperor Has No Clothes.

Couple of days ago, Thomas Friedman went on Imus & said - "insurgents defeated US Soldiers in Iraq" - He is an idiot. NO ONE CAN DEFEAT OUR SOLDIERS.

In a way, this is good. I think that many, many folks have indeed seen the ISG as the Iraq Surrender Group, and the media blitz is to try to stem the idea that the study focuses too much on withdrawal and defeat. I also think it won't work, because folks are smart enough to see through the BS and conclude the study is fundementally flawed.

We need to be vigilant today, and several of us need to watch each show and report every instance of DBM/politician lies, distortions, innuendos and omissions.

Who wants sign up for vital but disgusting duty?

I cannot figure out why this is listed as "Department of Transportation, Auditing" unless it is just one more attempt at obfuscation of the cspam schedule of events that might interest supporters of the Bush Administration.

PS: I am watching a 1991 video of the first day of the ground war of Desert Storm. It is very strange to see reporters and military experts talking without a lot of graphics, bars, crawls, timestamps, etc on the screen.
