Too late at this point. 39% of the 44% who actually voted in the last election for Governor, did us in. They chose the *tax and spend* guy with the best hair and who happened to be a RINO.....ummmm... Repub.

I suspect the Richmond-Petersburg Turnpike was made toll-free due to I-295 sucking away at the clientele.

And btw the tolls never, ever, ever go down.
Hmmm ... the DFW Turnpike (part of I-30 now) was de-tolled in 1977:
The Dallas-Fort Worth Turnpike was opened in 1957 and operated as a toll road until 1977 when it was turned over to the Texas Highway Department
