Regardless of Bush's responses to and presumably repudiation of this obscenity, the damage has already been done. The problem is that most Americans have NO IDEA what is actually in the ISG report. All they hear is that this high-and-mighty BIPARTISAN group (ooh la la!) has made wise pronouncements on getting out of Iraq ASAP, and that Bush is not kowtowing to all of the recommendations. Quelle horreur! If our fellow citizens read the report or even read *about* the report in any depth, they might see its flaws, but ya know, that's too much work. It's just easier to blame it on Bush. As usual.
