Sadeghian was inspired by a comparable paper he presented in 2001 at New York University's Fielding Institute. He says Muhammad had suffered from "complex partial seizures," which are displayed through "excessive sweating and light trembling, olfactory, auditory and visual hallucinations, epigastric sensations (bad taste), excessive perspiration and hyper-religiosity." He says evidence of these is recounted throughout the Koran.

Does this sound like advanced syphilis? Hmmmmmmmm....?

Mohammad is supposed to have met an angel.

Makes sense. Satan is a 'fallen' angel.

These symptoms could be attributed to teh demonic activity that certainly had an impact upon Mohammed. They are still influencing his followers. Inspired by the demonic and some of them are demoniacs today.

Many scientists seem to believe that visionaries of various sorts were probably epileptics.

***which are displayed through "excessive sweating and light trembling, olfactory, auditory and visual hallucinations, epigastric sensations (bad taste), excessive perspiration and hyper-religiosity."***

Here is how my seizures come on me...

A sudden feeling of intense terror or doom.
As it fades something "clicks" in the mind and I hear bells. In my case it sounds like a roulette wheel.
I get a metallic taste in my mouth,
Then my eyes cross and I get double vision for a while.
Then it all fades away slowly.
I then pop another Tegretol.

Muhammad suffered a severe dysfunction of the amygdala near the hippocampus. This area of the brain is tied in with the limbic region and is where rage and anger is centered. It is also the region of the brain that is sent to necropsy in animals to identify the negri bodies which are diagnostic for rabies. The French word for rabies is rage...which means that Muhammad was a stark raving mad lunatic.

Yet another source.... National Institutes of Health

Syphilis - tertiary (Late Stage)

Tertiary syphilis can follow the initial infection, primary syphilis, by 3 to 15 years. Secondary syphilis is the stage that precedes tertiary syphilis if primary syphilis is not treated.

In tertiary syphilis, the spirochetes have continued to reproduce for years. Pockets of damage accumulate in various tissues such as the bones, skin, nervous tissue, heart, and arteries. These lesions are called gummas and are very destructive.

Lesions in the central nervous system produce neurological disease called neurosyphilis which can include tabes dorsalis, general paresis, and optic atrophy. Lesions of the heart, heart valves and aorta can lead to aneurysms, valvular heart disease, and aortitis.

Tertiary syphilis is less frequently seen today than in the past because of early detection and adequate treatment.

I think this man has finally explained the wierdness of Islam and its founder. Seriously. It makes sense. Mohammed was an ill man who was having hallucinations and he was very, very bad man too. The mystery is solved for me. Islam is the intellectual and spiritual creation of a bad man with a brain disorder.
