Start your stockpiling...Here we go again! Start? I have not stopped since 9-11. ;)

Hell, Ive been stockpiling (acutally holding an inventory) since 1993 raid at Waco. I was only 23 then, but it scared the hell out of me at the power of that agency. Kept me tight as a rope and as high strung as a $2.00 watch.

By the way, if my house ever catches fire, grab the popcorn, even if you are in the next state. I have enough ammo, alcohol, playboys, and toilet paper to last a decade;)

Boy, I've never heard of any of these gadgets. Looked up the HellFire Trigger System and found this:
The maker, Hell-Fire systems of Olathe CO has been put out of business by a lawsuit filed against it over the shootings at a San Francisco law firm. Survivors and the family of at least one of those killed have sued each company that made anything the killer brought with him, including the Hell-Fire gadget and the Tec-DC9 pistol.

Humm

Wished my 10-22 worked this well (OK)

Video showed the shooter holding trigger to rear of trigger guard (visual clues, OK)

Reasonable man, usual legal test on a lot of things (OK)

Stupidly putting the video on YouTube, practically forcing the ATF to react...ah, I think I have it.

Placing video on a web site, showing use of rapid firing weapon that "looks like, it works like" a machine gun - DUH. No, make that - Double DUH!

These guys could give stupid lessons to Homer Simpson.

I'm sorry, why give ammunition (pun intended) to the anti-gunners out there? While many may not agree with current law, back in 1934 was the time to have stopped the nonsense.

Another was the Tri-Burst. It was outlawed about 12 years ago.

Dude, not to be rude, but did you even read the article? The COMPANY ASKED ATF for a review. ATF said, nope, not a machine gun, go ahead with your project. Company geared up, and made thousands, and THEN put it on YOUTUBE (with proper blessing from ATF). Then, several months later, ATF comes BACK and says, "well, I guess it was a machinegun even though we said it wasn't".

What ATF did was outlaw a legal item they said wasn't illegal!

Are we tracking now?

How was it declared illegal? Was it an internal or external trigger modification?

Last I heard the "rule" was it had to be an external trigger modification in order to be legal.

Don't know. Dealers pulled them and nobody wanted to talk about it 'cause the Feds were hanging out at the Fort Worth shows around that time.

Yes

I

read

the

article.

With apologies for not making my point clear. Putting the ad on you tube was dumb.

The FedGov is an odd and strange beast, changing laws and rulings as though these laws are mutable or rulings, a revolving door.

Ask any distiller.

"Our founding fathers did...Article 1 Section 10 (as I recall): "...and no ex post facto law shall be passed."

Except retroactive income taxes, apparently.

In other words, any repeating fire arm.

Sounds like an ex post facto ruling by BATFE. The anti-gun bureaucrats in that organization are all puffed up with the recent Democrat wins. Look for more of this nonsense.

F Troop just gave itself permission to seize all the sales records of that company and just created tens of thousands of felons over a shoestring. If you have one, don't be surprised if F Troop doesn't give you a call at the very least.
