Tiger Woods has an Asian mother and his Dad said he was tri-racial (is that even a word?), but he's considered black.

Mariah Carey has an Irish mom and her dad is only half black, but she's considered black.

Halle Berry has a white mom, but she is considered black.

My PA is African-American.

When people whom I have described her to as such see her they are taken aback by her blonde hair and blue eyes.

She is from South Africa. I don't refer to Black people as A-A, just her.

Yes, isn't it strange that if a person has 1 tenth or so of black blood, they are black, not white even if the other 9 tenths is all caucasian.

For some reason race has come up in my life several times in the last few weeks.


My comments and feelings are the same as they have been for years; there is only one Race, the Human Race.
