This is scary and it's here. The public schools
can do little to change the moral and societalrot. The hard core ghetto kids from these fragmented
families see no need to learn or acieve. Those who do
straighten up are often ridiculed for being an uncle Tom
or white. The resentment of values and decency is too
common.

This is really sad situations. It's like getting stuck in a hole and no way to get out, vicious circle. Other minorities, from Vietnamese in 1980's, Indians in 1990's and recent Hispanic immigrants, all came with almost nothing, yet they are able to build themselves up. I don't know what's the secret. I don't think social program is the answer. Could it be "positive attitude"? Could it be willingness to make incremental improvements to get better, one step at a time.

Wagoner is 27, handsome, neat moustache and goatee, the oldest of five kids. Lean, muscular, not too tall. Maria, his mom's name, is tattooed on his hand. In other words, Wagoner is a BUM. Works 2 days a week? I wouldn't care so much but I'm sure my tax money pays more for his kid's care than Wagoner does. The situation depicted in this story is so far removed from what I experienced growing up (white kid, suburbs) that it's unfair for me to make a judgment. I'll give Tim credit for trying to do right by his kid . . . but at 27, he's no better than a 15-year-old himself. Worse, Donne seems to believe he's acceptable. She set the target low; Tim hit it.

Hopefully Zyhir will be the one who "gets out." At least Tim's sister Tiffany, who babysits the boy as much as her brother does, seems to have some legitimate aspirations. Hopefully Zyhir will learn from her example.

take a trip to africa and ask his cousin about aids. Dad probably will not be there for zyhir. a lot of relationships in the black community are tempered with the african heritage , and, most recently the hiv. Disjointed, "extended", adoptive families are the norm.

Go back to the Johnson era and see how the democrap party purposefully created a state of social affairs designed to make a large number of black people dependent upon the government run by democrats, with welfare and scraps from the democrat pork table, and you will see the seeds of the evil still inveigling the black people of America. True, many have escaped that cycle created by government dependency, but a voting majority have not and that is precisely what the democrats planned. They are preparing a similar 'institution' for Hispanic immigrants. It will tear this nation apart, but they don't care so long as they create dependents who will keep voting them into power until it all falls down ... which won't take long now that we have a real enemy serving Evil in the world with murderous terrorism and suicide murdering.
