Nice day to celebrate!
What the hell happened to Quidam?
The turtle knows.
A big bump!
Thanks for your work!
We were outside the Senate the day Dave Delp got taken in to custody by the Capitol police for wearing a t-shirt in the gallery that said, "Clinton doesn't inhale, he sucks!" They let him go. Unlike Cindy Sheehan and the congressman's wife, nobody made a big deal about it. Saturday Night Live did a joke about it, with Bush 41 as the t-shirt wearer.
Amen.
neither does his sheman wife- shame is not in their dictionary regretably. Guess that is what happens when you sell your soul for money. http://sacredscoop.com
aND why isn't 'clinton impeachment day' a federal holiday so all the good people can celebrate the indictment of clinton?
So am I, and I have read "Democracy in America" in its entirety.
Favorite part:
"But if you care to read the articles of impeachment, you won't find any complaints about private sexual misconduct. You will find charges of perjury and obstruction of justice which are public acts and Federal crimes, especially when committed by the one person duty bound to faithfully execute the laws. Infidelity is private and noncriminal. Perjury and obstruction are public and criminal.
The deliberate focus on what is not at issue here is a defense lawyer's tactic and nothing more. This entire saga has been a theater of distraction and misdirection, time-honored defense tactics when the law and the facts get in the way."
Please define the word, IS...
"It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is" - excerpts from Bill Clinton's grand jury testimony
Is is is or is is ain't?
Yes is is with one constraint:
Is is never is becuz
Once you've said is is is wuz!
Yep! That's exactly how the Clinton mind works...
Too funny! Well done.

"I have read "Democracy in America" in its entirety." I'm duly impressed. I recently had the chance to buy it at a library sale but figured my pile of books-to-be read was too large. I thought the info on the link you provided was truly an interesting example of how "mis-information" enters our folklore and becomes entrenched.
Oh, I haven't read it for a long time, but I did have to read it in school, despite the other poster's slam of the American education system. :) When he posted the quote, I had a small memory buzz that it had been debunked as a Tocqueville quote.
As Yogi Berra may or may not have observed, "I didn't really say half the things I said." :)
The HUMAN STAIN (slick willie) Has "NO SHAME"
Oh, I'd forgotten "the human stain."
