Calling Rokke our Freeper expert and patriot:

I know they have mechanical backup instrumentation but what I am curious about is what is the backup system for the "fly by wire" on the Airbus?

Would this be a good time to ask: "why do the British drink warm beer?"

You guys realise that almost noone knows what you are talking about don't you?

In truth, you had to be there to see Lucas electrics!

The brits made the best chassis' and tires anywhere in those days.

But, if you drove through a puddle you needed a hair dryer or you waited for warm weather to continue.

You should have seen our family's 1938 MG TA. Wooden body parts, a clutch plate with corks stuffed into holes in the clutch plate.

Driving it in the rain was an experience with the flimsy side curtains and windshield wipers that barely worked. I didn't care, the girls liked it.

Wish I still had it. Sold it way too cheaply.
