Israel's government is in the ME and I would submit that they are the gold standard. Saddam was a brutal, murdering thug and is going to face justice at the hands of the Iraqi people for it. Good riddance to this dirtbag. We are now reaping the fruits of not taking out Iran and Iraq's leadership structures before.
