Readers of the AIM Report are accustomed to learning of huge distortions or omissions by the media. This time, the under-reported story deals with the possible end of America, as we know it.
Major players are secretive and are trying to keep the media out of the loop. But that does not let the mainstream media off the hook. There is enough stonewalling, secrecy and there are plenty of telltale signs, so that any assignment editor whose curiosity is not aroused is probably in the wrong business.
But in terms of the national media, only Lou Dobbs of CNN has blown the whistle on a scheme whereby a North American "Security and Prosperity Partnership," being implemented by the Department of Commerce, could pave the way for a transnational entity called the North American Union.
The implications of this scheme are staggering. Some experts say that up to a million people in Texas stand to lose their homes and 584,000 acres of rich farm and ranchland are to be destroyed, all for a privately funded highway. Of course, this is not the first time property-owners did battle with highway builders. That in itself is getting lots of media attention, but almost entirely in the regional/local media. At first glance, one might say this is a local story, so why should it go national?
But suppose you were told that this "highway" (to be built largely by foreign investors) could serve as the starting point for a much larger plan whose end result would be to erase the borders (figuratively if not literally) between the United States, Mexico, and Canada? Wouldn't you be curious, no matter where you live? The national media isn't interested.

It is a good article. It also shed some light on Pastor that I didn't know and explains a lot.
I don't always agree with the whole article and usually pick and choose (just as you do) what I appreciate about it. However, I believe most people on this forum care deeply about their country. Sometimes we have to agree to disagree.

I just received this article via an e-mail from my brother in law who is a Union Rep for Locomotive Teamsters. It is now being widely distributed among their Union. I've been telling him about it for months. It will be interesting to see if Union members finally awake to this news and recognize that their own jobs are in jeopardy as their leadership supports the illegal aliens' agenda.
Glad to hear that this is being distributed to the union members. Being from Texas I understand that people in other states don't have a clue about the toll roads, eminent domain and the agenda of Pastor and the left wing of America. At the present this doesn't affect other states as it does Texas. IMO, this is not ignorance on the peoples part as I believe it is the fact that this has been a controlled secret from the highest in government.

This may well be one of those rare instances when the union's self interests coincide with the best interests of the United States, i.e., putting a stop to this latest wet dream of the Washington political elite.
The issue is not dollars being sent abroad, it is how the border towns are dependent on each other.
Seems one is much more dependent than the other. What's strange to me is why people would do their shopping north of the border when, most of the same stores are in Mexico.

There are segments of the retail trade that don't exist on the mexican side.
Also better selection. Better quality. Better price.
There is also a cultural aspect to it in that it deals with class and conspicuous consumption. Those that can afford it will even go beyond the border area to San Diego, Tucson, or San Antonio.
