Your tradition sounds very similar to a lot of people in Britain. Mine though especially in recent years is not as healthy I will probably have mainly sweets (candies) or nibbles such as crackers and nuts for breakfast then cook dinner.
Christmas is a grazing time for me LOL
Am forcing myself to have breakfast today - an American quick one as it is late muffins seem OK to have mid morning not so sure at 8.00am but nearly 11.00 that is OK.
Then the documentation has arrived that should have been at work yesterday so will do covering letter and get in the post. Long story will elaborate at another time via email.
I suppose our dinner will be late lunch but then we will have tea which will be cold meat and pickles (onions, gerkin (dill) beetroot etc maybe some mashed potato.)
What you said. It's a stunning, arresting photo of the two of them.
Oh my thank you! How in the world? It's been a long time since I've posted on this thread. Thank you for the wishes.
It's a keeper for sure. You just know that they are pleased with it too.
Long time, no see and Happy Birthday!!!!
((((Wowza each of these pics have something very touching and sweet about them!
TY Ony, for posting Friday's Dose for us& the pretty Christmas greeting post too!))))
Congrats on getting Friday's Toaster.
Have a wonderful Christmas, Dolly and family (and pets)...
Thanks for letting me "barrow" that wonderful pic.
Hey thanks! Merry Christmas to you!
It's so good a photo, I'm sure in the course of normal marital disagreement, one of them has the prescience to turn the photo to the wall, until a deal is reached. :)
There's good ones on today's Dose too.
Like I said... it was pinged to ya to save as You wish...That's what it was meant for.
;oD
Laura's gown is dazzling. I'm thinking of doing a red Christmas Ball tree for my entryway, too.
I love that Christmas ball/ornament tree. If you do one, please let me know how it turns out.
I'll be at Walmarts, right after Christmas looking for red balls, no doubts. And as soon as summer is in full flush, nice, on sale, pots to root the cages in.
Contributions/corrections to this idea? Love to hear 'em.
You're amazing! You already have it engineered! Sounds like a truly workable plan to me. Alia, I mean it... I want to hear from you about it.
What Gadget? I have to tape my "stick-on" bows too.
