The nearly four-year war has already lasted longer than World War II.

We could end this one tomorrow, the same way we ended that one, but I'd prefer not, Helen.

Bush's 2003 "cakewalk" invasion of Iraq

Typical of the kinds of deceptions Hell-en Thomas and her ilk in the evil media engage in, she puts the words "cakewalk" in quotes and associates them with Bush's name as if those are his words and they are not. Some undersecretary of nothing used that wording about the initial invasion, which was more or less a cakewalk, not Bush who never represented the Iraq effort as anything other than likely to be tough--and she knows it too the filthy lying hag.

And if this Arabic 5th columnist witch hasn't gotten the message by now as to why we must finish this war, then no amount of repeating it is going to get it into her 6 inch thick granite skull. So get a new refrain idiot. Anyone who has paid the least bit of attention or has more than a walnut sized brain has heard the arguments, regardless of whether you accept them or not, as to why the war must be fought until a successful conclusion has been arrived at.

This tiresome media boilerplate of "I don't get it and Bush won't explain it" just makes you all look like a bunch of lame-brained dolts who are so slow and uncomprehending you must have rode the little bus to school.

Because traitors in America want the USA to cut and run!

We need more ideas like the chorus listed below by George M. Cohan.

Over there, over there,
Send the word, send the word over there -
That the Yanks are coming,
The Yanks are coming,
The drums rum-tumming
Ev'rywhere.
So prepare, say a pray'r,
Send the word, send the word to beware.
We'll be over, we're coming over,
And we won't come back till it's over
Over there.

I don't know why people make fun of her physical ugliness....

when her sheer mendacity is even a bigger target, and that's saying a lot.

He has been quoted as saying he may be dead before Americans "get it."

The nerve of you Helen to compare all Americans to your longing for your 72 virgins so you can finally get it.

What war?

Who is the enemy?

What nation(s) do they come from?

What is their goal?

Or is this simply terrorism seeking to cause anarchy, chaos, and terror?

Will the war "end" if we leave or will the combatants take the war to this country (or other American interests)?

Who do we negotiate the peace with? Al Qaeda? Do you feel they are honorable to be counted on living up to any agreement made with them? Where do we contact them? How do we hold them accountable if they reneg on the peace resolution?

"Bush's 2003 "cakewalk" invasion of Iraq to bring about a "regime change" has expanded into what he told a news conference Wednesday is "the beginning stages of an ideological battle.""

Sorry, could't get any further than that lie.

The War on Islamofacists will continue until there ain't no Islamofacist!

The Iraq War ended when that Rat was pulled from his spider hole. He's due to be hung within the month but the "Insurgents" continue to kill men. women and children most who are non-combatants!!!!!

This Jihad is over 1350 years in progress and I would offer an opinion that the fall of the Eastern Roman Empire in 1453 was NOT Bush's fault!

The explanation for why the war would or should continue for so long is not up to President Bush, it is up to the shadowy warriors of the Islamic Jihad.

Peace would prevail TOMORROW in Iraq if the militants among the Sunnis and the Shi'ites would lay down their arms and disband their militias. Similarly, if the Taliban would surrender up Osama bin Ladin and cease their campaign to unseat the (legally elected) central government in Afghanistan, peace would finally come to that tormented land as well.

In fact, if the Islamic jihadists would simply stop trying to subjugate their neighbors, virtually all warfare on this planet would come to a near halt right now. They are practically the only ones making waves now.

But human nature being what it is, some other bunch of totally insensitive, economically unsophisticated, and intellectually challenged power grubbers would be elevated to the status of "new disturbances of the peace".

I was going to say that this commentary is irrelevant since Pres Bush is just about a lame a duck as there is, but then I noticed HT had added that to her resume already. She's actually an attractive woman.

Helen Thomas is from Arab-American decent.

Thomas grew up in Detroit, which along with neighboring Dearborn, is home to one of the largest Arab American communities in the United States.

"I'm more aware of being a woman discriminated against," she said. "I'm sure blacks have felt much more the color line. There certainly might have been (anti-Arab sentiment) but I didn't feel it once I got into Washington

Haiek, Publisher of the News Circle/ Arab-American Affairs magazine and the Arab-American Almanac series, since 1972.

The event begun with "Drumbeats of Youth" performed by the Maples School Arabic Music Ensemble.

Emery King, Master of Ceremonies, introduced Jennifer Granholm, Governor of the State of Michigan, saying the Governor is a speaker who holds her audience "spellbound. In her welcoming remarks, Governor Granholm said:

"Thank you very much on behalf of the State of Michigan. I particularly want to extend greetings to Helen Thomas, who is going to be your keynote speaker this evening. And obviously she can see how important the Arab-American community is to the State of Michigan.

Will Bush Explain Why War Continues? What? Again?!?

How many times does he have to explain it to you, Helen?

Okay, one more time, and this time he'll use small words and hand-puppets so you'll "get it".
