Ford received his commission as an Ensign in the U.S Naval Reserve on April 13, 1942 and later participated in many actions in the Pacific aboard the fast aircraft carrier USS Monterey (CVL 26). Miss Daisy has been busy digging the yard up this month, she's trying to catch the mole who has tunnels in the yard. Looks like we'll have to redo the yard in the Spring (again).
