Let me guess? He knew this before he dropped some of the charges. This guy is obviously in way over his head.

Hey Nifong... have you been "house" hunting lately... maybe Sadam's Iraqi spiderhole would be a good place to escape this disaster you've created for yourself.

This may give the players ammunition to file a civil suit against Nifong and Durham after the charges are dropped!!.... This is great news! Glad it came before the "trial". Maybe justice will be done after all.

Excuse my rant, but can I ask why there is so much coverage on the Duke Lacrosse players who are being railroaded by a local prosecutor and so little (by anyone other than Lou Dobbs) about the two Border Patrol agents who are being railroaded by the federal government and going to prison for doing their jobs.

It's about time! I am from NC and was beginning to be embarrassed by the impression we were giving that the justice system in our state would allow such obvious prosecutorial misconduct to go unchecked. IMO, the Attorney General of NC should already have taken action, but the "good old boy" Democrat machine does not like to criticize fellow Democrats until their misconduct becomes so obvious that they can no longer ignore it (as was the case recently with corrupt Speaker of the House Jim Black).

"In a statement, the bar said it opened a case against Nifong in March 30, a little more than two weeks after the party where a 28-year-old student at North Carolina Central University hired to perform as a stripper said she was raped."

Past time. . .but good to see finally, some heat on this self-serving public disgrace. .
I hope this Nifong gets all he deserves. . .and then some. . .

I said in an earlier post this week here that this would become a Bar Association matter. More will come of it as his conduct in this matter comes to light.

Yes that is true. I suspect its mainly because the BP dudes weren't involved with a stripper which would make it oh so much more important for Greta et. al.
