God bless those soldiers who caught Saddam and then watched over him--I read a really interesting Vanity Fair article about that.

This man (Saddam) did things beyond the pale of (un)imaginable cruelty.

That said, I hope and pray he realizes the error of his ways, either in this life or the next.
