Saddam Hussein may be hanged within hours, senior Iraqi officials and the ousted president's defence team said on Friday.
One senior Iraqi source told Reuters key legal issues had been resolved and he could go to the gallows shortly. Another official said Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki was meeting key figures, including the Justice Minister, to agree the details.

Maybe CNN should send their lead hate-America-traitors, Christiane Amanpour and Peter Arnett, over to beg for Saddam's life. Maybe they could also take Dan Rather along, as he was so fond of Saddam and was his best bud. Maybe Dan could get a "last interview" and the CNN gang could film it! Dan needs the gig. (sarc)

Get someone like Ol George Maledon. He was Isaac Parkers hangman at Ft Smith back in the Old Days. He executed more people than anyone in the history of the country.
Just before he left Fort Smith, Maledon was asked if his conscience ever bothered him about the hangings or if he feared the spirits of the departed. To this he replied, "No, I have never hanged a man who came back to have the job done over."

It's safe to watch this video. But think how this must have felt. Saddam deserves his fate.
These came from my Joel Whitburn Pop Annuals -- but I'd bet some of them are available for sampling at the iTunes Store.
Maybe it can be reworked for the moniker of Saddam Hussein Il Tikrit -- or, S.H.I.T. for short.
Has anyone else been wondering what Matt Stone and Trey Parker are going to do with this? ( I know, I'm awful.)
