So Clark thinks he could prove Saddam "innocent"?? The man was doomed the day he was pulled up out of that spider hole.

".......The United States, and the Bush administration in particular, engineered the demonization of Hussein, and it has a clear political interest in his conviction,...."
Its amazing how a man like Ramsey Clark can be so ignorant. Saddam demonized himself. And the evidence is readily available for all to see, but then that was on Clinton's watch. We musn't acknowledge his abandonment of the Kurds.
Halabjah 1988 Northern Iraq. This is what demonized Saddam, and he earned it, and he deserved more than the quick efficient death he got.Ramsey Clark is as selectively ignorant as they come.
Halabjah 1988 Northern Iraq, Thousands of Gassed Kurds, thanks to Saddam and his sons. Mark you, that is genocide:
Poor Saddam. Demonized he was? Ramsey, you're on the wrong side of history, and your vileness is shameful!

When my husband was in the service, he guarded Hess in Spandau prison. I think he did commit suicide but he did go crazy. He also became a Catholic, I do believe, before all that happened, of course.

I guess I saw a resemblance to someone else.
They both have the same 'intelligent' look in their eyes.
To: kristinn
You rule, man. Ramsey will definitely be playing pinochle in Hell with Saddam.
